Happy Friday! Very rainy, windy and cold here on the beach but even that is absolutely beautiful. I am soaking in this last month here for sure.
I meant to send this out yesterday but I had a sleeping toddler on me and those moments don't ever happen any more so I soaked it ALL UP. For me EARTH FRIENDLY clothing means filling our wardrobes with clothing made by eco-friendly, ethical, and/or sustainable brands, it means quality and less quantity, it means spending a little more on pieces that I know will last years. It also means buying pre-loves/pre- owned goods (more on that later!). And since the theme of the month is all things friendly to the earth I thought I'd share some places to shop for clothing. I plan on switching to this more and more for noth just my closet but theirs too. Which means shopping a lot more on sale!
Everlane, I love this line!! Classic gorgeously made pieces! and I ordered these tees (3 for $45) denim and looking at this swimsuit for this year. If your looking for pieces to add capsule basics this is this place to shop!
Boden. Sustainable cotton, transparent supply chain, eco-friendly packaging and super beautiful designs that are fun and classic. I love the striped shirts and girls dresses, and watch for sales often!
Hanna Anderson is our absolute favorite pjs (find the ones on sale), cute dresses ( I bought these strawberry ones for the girls!) and slipper socks. They last so long, and are perfect hand me downs because they are so durable!
Reformation, a little bit of a splurge but the dresses are BEAUTIFUL! And lounge sets also so cute and flattering. Love this set, and this classic dress!
H&M Conscious Collection also has some great conscious options, and I love how much they are doing to be better. The prices cannot be beat.
Nordstrom also gives you an option to shop for sustainable lines!
Patagonia, is another ALL STAR when it comes to sustainability.
I hope you have a wonderful Friday! We plan on sharing Ways to be Earth Friendly every day, How to talk about recycling with kids and more Earth day posts all next week!
xoxo
