Guys!!!!

I am finally back and here to share my mama uniform of the week, highwaisted + a hat + lipstick and you've got a mama looking a little more put together than she feels. Because this mama right here is holding down the fort while dadda is on a biz trip and here babe is still not sleeping through the night because of a cold.

While we are talking all sorts of truths around here, I do have a confessions to make: I've had a fear of walking around with lipstick on my teeth, since forever. A fear, so bad that I have deprived myself of wearing lipstick regularly. Until now, because now I walk around with food, grass and who knows what stains all over me (most I don't realize until I take off the article of clothing at night...) and I'm all like, whatevs. Tis' is life with a toddler! Plus, the lipstick makes me feel all sorts of fancy; so, here is to a new season filled with some color on my lips, matchy matchy outfits and hats. Lots of hats.

Jeans ( I got these too!) // Shirt // Bag (old similar here) // Shoes (old Steve Madden, I want these) // Hat (scored at TJMaxx love this one and this one) //

These Target jeans are high waisted and stretchy, seriously this mamas dreams coming true right here. I actually really wanted a pair that were all black and not as "washed" in the front but the fit was just too good. And the buy 1 get 1 50% off jeans and outerwear was a deal I couldn't pass up. Plus I used the cartwheel app and got an additional 25% off all Mossimo stuff!

New seasons excite me, get me thinking of all the new experiences with my girl and my family. Especially here in the burbs and with a little travel we have planned next month. Stay tuned for my Fall bucket list!

Target Overalls // Old Zara Shirt (but want this AP one) // rain boots // LV bag //

Overalls have been on mind since I started spotting all my fav bloggers wearing them and when I spotted these (pocket friendly) options I knew I had to. Now that the weather is cooling down, mama had an opportunity to wear them and I knew I had to share them! They are a must buy, comfy, and distressed in the right spots, even went well with my rain boots.

And although one of the mom's at Z's music class didn't have nice things to say about them, most people loved them. But most importantly I love them!!! Only thing I would change is I'd wear them with a body suit (linked the AP one I just ordered) so there was less scrunching in the already not so flat belly area. I seriously might just might wear them every week...

PS Target is having a BOGO sale and I just picked up a few of these t-shirts, this scarf and these jeans. Head on over now!

Hello loves!

Getting lot's done over here before the cabinet/kitchen painting starts on Friday but thought I'd stop by with an outfit I wore last week.

I am a master at pinning denim on denim (check this post out) but always feel silly and not so chic once I put it on butttttt since night are getting cooler I was able to layer on a little leather on the denim look and I have to say I really liked it!

Jeans (old Rag & Bone - similar: these under $100 and these under $30 ) // Gap Denim shirt // Target shoes (on sale!) // Jacket (old Reiss but this one from this year & want this steal in black) // Vintage Gucci via Invaluable (sooo into auction shopping lately!) // Sunglasses (RayBan)

Moral of this fashion story is that sometimes all you have to do is add a little something to make a look fit your style.

Denim on denim may be my Fall go-to look! What do you think? Would you do the denim on denim???

Happy hump day my loves.
