Happy weekend!

I am sitting in bed with my big girl, who has had a fever since last night and well the one thing I have been able to do as hubby and I divide and conquer (aka keep the healthy one away!) is finally get a couple posts up.

Books are my love language and my one hope is that both the girls continue to love books as much as I do.

What is better than gifting books? To me, there is nothing better! I gift the girls a couple each for every holiday/season and then we get to pull them out together (I started collecting kids books before I even got pregnant!). They get so excited to pull them out that it's like if they were all brand new. Here are some favorites and a few others I have my eye on.

Love Monster

A lot of these are available for delivery before next Thursday, so maybe you can start a new tradition with your littles!!

Happy Saturday!

Happy Monday my lovelies!

Mimi (my mama) surprised the girls with a quick visit and just left. To say we are sad and mopey is the very minimum. Ughhh the hardest part for sure has been living away from our friends and family. Just SO hard to start over. So to get them in a better mood I have promised to pull out our Fall and Halloween books.

We have kept up with the tradition of adding a book for each girl to our collection and you guys it is so fun. Pulling them out each holiday or season gets them excited and keeps them loving books.

Here are some of the ones I've found on Amazon and some we have and Love. Definitely adding some of the Spanish ones to our library.

Baby Board Books

Some Spanish Ones

Another option is grabbing a few at the library! or Rotating with friends so that you are all reading new ones! Don't have littles ones? These mystery books round up, and this one will get you in the spooky mood! Or these 10 best Horror Movies on Netflix. I will go ahead and stick to kids books because mama no likey anything scary! ha!

Tune in later this week for a requested Chicken Meatball recipe that the girls LOVE + plus a bunch of tips that we 100% stick to while trying to keep our household healthy. Cold & Flu season is around the corner and having a babe with Neutropenia means we are SUPER careful.

We have had so much fun growing the girls library.

And one of the best things we've done is gifting one book (now for each of the babes) for each holiday, or season. Instead of a bunch of little things, I 'll most likey trip on and throw away...

And then having the chance to pulling out books for holidays or seasons! Rotating books every month keeps them fresh and in the last two years Zoe has been soooo into pulling them out.

So I thought I would share the Love Day books are reading during totschool, becuase instead of learning about Valentine's Day we are learning about love. How to love people that are different, and how we can show people that we love them. Because in reality all I am trying to do is raise good, compassionate, loving humans.

So here it is, our non-VDAY VDAY books.

Maybe one or two of these will be a great little V-Day treat for your little love bug. Do you have any favorites we can add?

xoxo
