Well hey there, I have found it hard to manage everything after coming home from the hospital but honestly maybe I am just prioritizing my health and my time. But hoping to take this week to prep for April!

We have all loved the spring weather we had over the last week and cannot wait for it to stay warm. I realized Easter is in a week so I thought I'd share (and shop for) our Easter basket fillers today and I'd share.

I am all about the sweets that comes with Easter, well I shouldn't say that but I am all about the girls excitement of opening up an egg filled with jelly beans that they never eat during the year But the Easter Bunny also brings some Spring time goodies (it's been our tradition since Zoe's first Easter!

Some may argue that little knick knacks are the trick but it honestly is not my style the crap ends up everywhere and eventually into our recycle bin (after I've stubbed a toe a few times) so I stick to things we will use, especially for Spring!

1. Sun Hat // This one is great too!

2. PJ's (girls are obsessed with "PJ dresses!" - these are cute ones too!)

3. Water Color Set (we have been obsessed with water color painting, easy clean up and everyone can enjoy!)

5. Rain Boots (something they will use a LOT!)

6. Cute set of sunnies! The reviews are great and the girls love them for dress up.

7. Stickers! (I'll put some in the basket and save some for another time!)

8. Cute umbrellas, (we actually get so much more use out of umbrellas in the city! this one is cute)!

10. THE BEST Bubbles, and bubble machine set (with amazing reviews)!

11. Swimmies! One Piece I got the girls this year because they can wear for gymnastics too!

12. Sandals - I size up and the girls wear them through the Fall. They look great dressed up and down! LOVE them.

13. This Doll - so sweet for a little babe !

14. Spring books for each of the girls, this one for Ami and this one for both girls, we have this one and it's incredible. I love that we will put these out every Spring.

15. Indoor Starter Planting Kit (I love this gardening set!) this for a toddler is great too!)

16. Ready Set Paste set both girls have used this!

17. Magnetic Pattern Block Set - love gifting a gift that is a learning toy/busy box, they both love this.

18. Honey Stick Crayons ( we love these bath crayons!)

19. Rock Sidewalk Chalk - fun for outdoor play!!

21. Non-Drying kid markers! I got the girls these because we color a LOT and these won't dry out!

22. My girls love washi tape!

26. Butterfly Garden ( I just ordered this for the girls !)

27. I ordered these little unicorn eggs, totally and activity the girls will enjoy after.

28. This fun Easter Lego set is a cute gift/activity for the day.

Now I am dying to know what you usually put in your baskets? And what are your traditions?!

Hey hey hey!

We have somewhat survived the week, and although it was another week consumed with sickness we made sure to make it super fun with miss Zoe. Now we can count down until we leave for April vacation!! Anyone else surviving on a mere thought of warmer weather.

I thought I'd keep in stride and share my favorite weekly post. Now for 5 things that I do every time someone seems to have kicked a virus.

1. Do all the laundry. Sheets, sleep sacks, pillow cases, all the blankets, towels, and rugs. I use this Thieves Laundry detergent and add a capful of the Thieves cleaner concentrate for a boost.

2. Clean those floors. I bought this steam mop and am obsessed. I try and do the floors 3 times a week but especially after we've kicked a bug.

3. Fill the bellies with goodness, Vitamin C, green smoothies, and back to a veggie filled plate for dinner. It's so hard to not feed them some indulgences when they are so sick, we have a one track mind toward just keep them hydrated but once we are starting to feel better we try and get right back to our pretty healthy eating.

4. Epsom salt. After I've scrubbed the toilet and tub we make sure to soak the girls in a little epsom salt bath. It's a little detox that helps make sure those toxins are on there way out. I usually make sure and soak myself too. Add a little lavender to get them relaxe.

5. Diffuse all the oils while we rest as much possible. This is key, resting definitely help everyone recover, especially grownups that are probably not be sleeping much either. I remind myself not to feel guilty (especially hard during vacation week) but the rest and slowing down, is what we all need to recoup.

These are the 5 things we have been doing for the last day or so. And will continue on through the weekend. We need to be 100% by Monday so here goes! Now happy weekend my friends.

I'll be playing catch up this weekend and next week:

I'll be getting Ami's update up on le blog, tips on kids in the kitchen,-how to wear a structured blazer now and a FAQ post (hoping this is a video!!), plus our arts & crafts corner must haves (per your request!).

Please shoot me a note with anything you'd like to see on here in March :)

Another sick day over here (damn you Kindergarten germs!!!) but at least I got to add to my Valentine's Day posts! And since one of my favorite parts about any holiday is crafting with the girls, I thought I'd round up some fun ones.

I mean simple activities to keep them off the screens, that both the two-ager and 5-ager can handle, is a win on all parts. Gosh I love Pinterest for endless ideas, so here they are 10 crafting ideas (with the simplest supplies! to do this week. We made these paper bag puppets last week and the girls had a blast (so many options but we were excited to make the love monsters).

These paper plate hats, we made last year.

Love these hearts for practice cutting.

Plus all of these make absolute perfect grandparent/godparent gifts!! I am going to have them each choose one for ours and include a photo of both the girls!

Hope it's a great week my friends.
